The Lufthansa Cargo Upcycling vase is an abstract design object that creatively refers to shapes from aviation. The main shape quotes the characteristic geometries of tail units.

The main element of the vase is made of aluminum of used air cargo pallets and containers, which have a special and unique surface due to their previous use in air cargo. In combination with oak wood and glass, a noble design object is created.

The glass body of the vase can be used both unfilled for dried flowers and plant parts, and filled with water for fresh plants and flowers. The geometric-technical form of the metal element of the vase forms an aesthetic contrast to the organic forms of nature.
