A 'Diva' says 'Good bye!' after 23 years at Lufthansa Cargo
The MD-11F was not easy to maneuver because of its demanding flight characteristics. She was therefore alternately referred to as Diva by pilots. Lufthansa Cargo had 19 MD-11F freighters in service between 1998 and 2021. On October 17, 2021, the career of the three-engine aircraft came to an end on the Frankfurt-New York route. With you, 'the Diva' can continue to fly for many years to come.
